SPREE Schools Give Back At RiverSweep
Come help clean up the South Platte River and give back to our city's river. From being a source of life for the Arapahoe and Cheyenne to the gold rush days to today, the South Platte River has played an integral part in Denver's history. By 1974, the river was so polluted, that it was almost unsalvageable. Today, thanks to the efforts of thousands of volunteers, the river is a true amenity once again for Denver. Help be a part of taking care of our river.
Where: Check in at Grant Frontier Park, 2190 S Platte River Dr, Denver, CO 80223
When: Saturday, September 26th 2009 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
